Softball Recap: Bonita Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

Bonita proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 16) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Glendora Tartans 4-2. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-2 win back in April.

Leah Reynolds was incredible, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.

Bonita's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-8. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Glendora, their loss dropped their record down to 16-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bonita will host Ayala at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something the Bearcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Glendora, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Walnut at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
