Volleyball Recap: Leah Allen and Bentlee Conway Secure Win for Sauk Prairie

Sauk Prairie won the last time they faced Portage and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Warriors.

While Sauk Prairie might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Portage scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18.

Leading Sauk Prairie to victory were Bentlee Conway and Leah Allen. Conway had nine digs, while Allen had seven digs and five assists. That's the most digs Conway has posted over her last six matches.

Sauk Prairie has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-4 record this season. As for Portage, they dropped their record down to 19-16 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Sauk Prairie will venture away from home to face off against Waunakee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Portage, they will head out to challenge Beaver Dam at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
