Baseball Recap: Four Straight Home Wins for Crater

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Washington Union, Crater was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the Churchill Lancers 4-2. The Comets haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Crater's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Churchill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.

Crater will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lancers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
