Basketball Recap: Wayne Comes Up Short

Wayne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They took a 43-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mynderse Academy Blue Devils. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-37 back in December of 2024.

Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Mynderse Academy, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayne will welcome Midlakes at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mynderse Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Palmyra-Macedon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
