Softball Recap: Lindenwold Comes Up Short

Lindenwold lost against LEAP Academy back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions lost 19-2 to the Lancers. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Giselle Ontiveros made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Karen Gullett was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

Lindenwold now has a losing record of 1-2. As for LEAP Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lindenwold will square off against Haddonfield at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for LEAP Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Mastery at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
