Volleyball Recap: Marc Francis Callejas Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Auburndale

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bishop Moore had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Auburndale Bloodhounds as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15, 25-20.

Bishop Moore got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Marc Francis Callejas out in front who had 13 digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Callejas a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Ferris, who had ten digs.

Bishop Moore has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. As for Auburndale, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-5.

Coming up, Bishop Moore will challenge Winter Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Auburndale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
