Baseball Recap: Coral Springs Charter Takes a Loss

Coral Springs Charter was the 6-0 winner over Pine Crest when they last played one another back in April of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Coral Springs Charter fell 7-3 to Pine Crest on Friday. Coral Springs Charter has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Coral Springs Charter got a good showing from Vincent Campbell, who pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, Coral Springs Charter saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julian Spinola, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Nolan Mianowski also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Coral Springs Charter now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Pine Crest, their record is now 10-4-1.

Meanwhile, Pine Crest will face off against Palmer Trinity at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 124 places (77 vs. 201).
