Countryside's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Hollins Royals. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Royals: they've now won three in a row.

Ethan Hawkins was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024.

Countryside's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Hollins, they dropped their record down to 4-9 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Countryside will challenge Anclote at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hollins, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Pinellas Park at 7:00 p.m.
