Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Ciara Kelly and Sydney Stephen Lead Hopkinton to Victory + How To Watch

Hopkinton had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They put the hurt on the Algonquin Regional Titans with a sharp 3-0 win. For the Hillers, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Titans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Hopkinton was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, 25-16.

Hopkinton was led to victory by Sydney Stephen and Ciara Kelly. Stephen had seven digs and five aces, while Kelly had nine assists and seven aces. Those nine assists gave Kelly a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Hopkinton was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in five consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Hopkinton's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Algonquin Regional, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Hopkinton has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Westwood on the 10th. As for Algonquin Regional, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Nipmuc Regional on the 10th.
