Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pine). They blew past the Independence Tigers 23-13 on Wednesday. That's more bragging rights for the Raiders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Pine's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Independence, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pine will welcome Albany at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Independence, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Independence Tigers face off against Woodlawn-B.R. Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Woodlawn-B.R. has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.4 runs per game on average), something Independence will no doubt try to take advantage of.
