Arizona College Prep and ALA - Gilbert North squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Arizona College Prep had to settle for second. They received a blow as they fell 38-20 to the Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost seven in a row.

Although Arizona College Prep took the loss, they still got scores from Ashton Sanchez, Max Sasso, and Kyle Poole.

ALA - Gilbert North's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ben Livingston, who threw for 188 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes. Weston Powell was another key back, gaining 76 total yards.

Arizona College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for ALA - Gilbert North, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1.
