Basketball Recap: Sandy Valley Comes Up Short

Sandy Valley lost against Ridgewood back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Sandy Valley Cardinals had to suffer through a 58-23 loss at the hands of the Ridgewood Generals. The Cardinals were down 43-15 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Sandy Valley's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Ridgewood, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Sandy Valley will host Claymont at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ridgewood, they are taking a road trip to challenge Indian Valley at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
