Softball Game Preview: Combs Coyotes vs. ALA - Queen Creek Patriots

The Combs Coyotes will face off against the ALA - Queen Creek Patriots at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Combs and three for ALA - Queen Creek.

Combs came up short against Crismon on Wednesday, falling 29-2.

Combs saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jasseryn Polanco, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, ALA - Queen Creek suffered their biggest defeat since March 1st on Wednesday. They lost 12-2 to Eastmark.

ALA - Queen Creek's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Combs, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Combs has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like ALA - Queen Creek struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Combs might still be hurting after the 27-15 loss they got from ALA - Queen Creek when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Coyotes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
