Soccer Game Preview: Central vs. Dothan

Central is 0-4 against Dothan since February of 2020 but things could change on Wednesday. The Central Red Devils will venture away from home to challenge the Dothan Wolves at 8:15 p.m. Dothan took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Central, who comes in off a win.

Last Thursday, everything went Central's way against Jordan as Central made off with a 5-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.

They hit Jordan with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jan Bach (2), Nathaniel Riepe (2), and Parker Gessner.

Meanwhile, while the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Johns Creek who was credited with the victory on Saturday. Johns Creek got it done in the shootout by posting one goals to Dothan's zero.

Central's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Dothan, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Central might still be hurting after the 4-0 loss they got from Dothan when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
