Basketball Recap: William Floyd Skates Past Central Islip with Ease

William Floyd won the last time they faced Central Islip and things went their way on Saturday too. The William Floyd Colonials breezed by the Central Islip Musketeers to the tune of 71-25. The Colonials pushed the score to 59-11 by the end of the third, a deficit the Musketeers cut but never quite recovered from.

William Floyd's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Savannah Pantry, who posted 18 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Milania Farrow, who put up 13 points and four steals.

The win made it two in a row for William Floyd and bumps their season record up to 9-10. As for Central Islip, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

William Floyd will square off against Sachem North at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central Islip, they will take on Walt Whitman at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
