Basketball Recap: DuQuoin Comes Up Short

DuQuoin lost against Harrisburg back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The DuQuoin Indians fell 54-43 to the Harrisburg Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 345th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 110th).

DuQuoin's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Harrisburg, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

DuQuoin has already played their next contest, a 76-65 defeat against Anna-Jonesboro on the 15th. As for Harrisburg, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Herrin at 7:30 p.m. Herrin is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.5 points per game this season.
