It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Alhambra had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past The Palmdale Aerospace Academy Griffins 53-51. The victory was nothing new for the Moors as they're now sitting on three straight.

Despite the loss, The Palmdale Aerospace Academy still got an impressive performance from Sir-Gavin Epps, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 11 boards. What's more, Epps posted four blocks, the most he's had since back in January. Sean Smith was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Alhambra's win bumped their record up to 17-13. As for The Palmdale Aerospace Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-8.

Looking ahead, Alhambra will head out to face off against California at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in California's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups. The Palmdale Aerospace Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
