Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Jordan walked away with it. They came out on top against the Hurricane Tigers by a score of 42-34 on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Beetdiggers, who have now won nine matches in a row.

Jordan got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Paige Smith out in front who went 7-for-10 en route to 15 points and six boards. Smith is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Felita Tauvao, who posted four points and seven rebounds.

Jordan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 17 consecutive contests.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hallee Wardle, who put up five points in addition to five boards and four steals. Adalyn Johnson was another key player, putting up four points.

Jordan pushed their record up to 16-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Hurricane, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-19.

Looking ahead, Jordan will take on Provo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Provo is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.8 points per game this season. Hurricane does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
