Basketball Recap: Lyman Comes Up Short

Lyman lost against Seminole back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lyman Greyhounds were beaten by the Seminole Seminoles 61-3. While losing is never fun, the Greyhounds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 599th, while the Seminoles are ranked 95th).

Lyman dropped their record down to 1-14 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Seminole, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lyman will square off against Trinity Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Seminole, they will challenge Master's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
