Basketball Game Preview: Verrado Vipers vs. Youngker Roughriders + How To Watch

Verrado is 6-1 against Youngker since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Having just played yesterday, the Vipers will head out on the road to face off against the Roughriders at 7:00 p.m. The contest will give Verrado their first taste of in-conference action this season.

On Wednesday, Verrado was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 53-49 to Chandler. The game marked the Vipers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Youngker, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They breezed past Sierra Linda to the tune of 76-48 on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Roughriders in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

Verrado's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Youngker, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Everything came up roses for Verrado against Youngker when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 91-52 win. Will the Vipers repeat their success, or do the Roughriders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
