Soccer Recap: Taylor Prep Comes Up Short

Taylor Prep lost against Canton Preparatory back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tigers came up short against the Chargers, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Taylor Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 448th, while Canton Preparatory are ranked 160th).

Taylor Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Canton Preparatory, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1-1.

Looking ahead, Taylor Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against Academy of the Americas at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Canton Preparatory, they will head out to face off against Southfield Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
