North Star entered their tilt with Rimrock on Tuesday with 12 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 13. They were the clear victors by a 20-2 margin over the Raiders. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Colby Coit looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, North Star got a massive performance out of Jace Irwin, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Luke Fox was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with four runs, one triple, and one RBI.

North Star always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .781. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in four consecutive games.

North Star's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Rimrock, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Coming up, North Star will face off against Gem State Adventist Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Jaguars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.29 runs per game on average), something the Huskies will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Rimrock, they will head out on the road to square off against Idaho City at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season.
