Basketball Recap: Southern Nash Comes Up Short

After soaring to 68 points the game before, Southern Nash was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They took a blow against the D.H. Conley Vikings, falling 62-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Firebirds have suffered since January 17th.

Cayden Hill had an outrageously good game for D.H. Conley as he posted 33 points. Those 33 points gave Hill a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Zavion Deberry, who had nine points.

Southern Nash is on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for D.H. Conley, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southern Nash will host Beddingfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for D.H. Conley, they will welcome Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
