On Tuesday, Huron faced East Lansing in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Huron River Rats lost 72-49 to the East Lansing Trojans. The River Rats' defeat signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Kelvin (KJ) Torbert, Jr. continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for East Lansing, almost dropping a double-double with 26 points and nine rebounds. Torbert, Jr. is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last seven games he's played. Cameron Hutson was another key player, going 8-for-16 on his way to 20 points and seven boards.

Huron's loss dropped their record down to 22-5. As for East Lansing, the victory (which was their 21st in a row) raised their record to 26-1.

Huron does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Lansing, they will square off against St. Mary's Prep at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Mary's Prep will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something East Lansing surely won't give up without a fight.
