Football Recap: Arcola Takes a Loss

Arcola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 44-6 loss at the hands of the Sangamon Valley/Tri-City Storm. That's two games in a row now that the Purple Riders have lost by exactly 38 points.

Arcola's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Sangamon Valley/Tri-City, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Arcola is set to square off against their familiar foe Cumberland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sangamon Valley/Tri-City will face off against rival Nokomis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
