Volleyball Recap: Fairfield Christian Academy Triumphs

After losing to Crooksville the last time they met, Fairfield Christian Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Knights walked away with a 3-1 win over the Ceramics on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Fairfield Christian Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 21-25, 25-15.

Lexi Wharton was nothing short of spectacular: she had 18 digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Wharton wasn't the only good server: Fairfield Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Crooksville only served four aces.

Fairfield Christian Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Crooksville, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Fairfield Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Miller on the 26th. As for Crooksville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against John Glenn on the 23rd.
