Basketball Recap: Pittsburg Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

Pittsburg's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Woden Eagles by a score of 60-51. While the Pirates didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-25), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Pittsburg is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Woden, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

Pittsburg and East Chambers will face off at 1:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. East Chambers knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Pittsburg likes a good challenge.
