Football Recap: Cornerstone Charter Academy Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Cornerstone Charter Academy's offense. They were beaten by the Liberty Chargers 36-0 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Ducks have suffered since March 1st.

Cornerstone Charter Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Liberty, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-7 record this season.

Cornerstone Charter Academy will square off against Matanzas at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pirates' defense has only allowed 11 points per game this season, so the Ducks' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Liberty, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-13 victory against Osceola on the 3rd.
