It was a good run, but Christ Presbyterian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Beech Buccaneers by a score of 4-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 11-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2021.

Christ Presbyterian Academy suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 15-2. As for Beech, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christ Presbyterian Academy will host Rossview at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Beech, they will challenge Glenbard East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
