Foran is 2-7 against East Haven since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Lions will venture away from home to challenge the Yellowjackets at 4:30 p.m. Foran is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Foran and Lauralton Hall have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Lions blew past the Crusaders 17-0. Considering the Lions have won ten matches by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Abigail Corris made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in 16 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one triple. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024.

Foran pushed their record up to 17-0 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for East Haven, their record is now 9-6.

Everything went Foran's way against East Haven in their previous meeting back in April, as Foran made off with a 10-0 victory.
