Basketball Game Preview: Reagan Rattlers vs. Brandeis Broncos

The Reagan Rattlers will face off against the Brandeis Broncos at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Last Wednesday, Reagan came up short against Clark and fell 48-35. The Rattlers have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Brandeis can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. Everything went their way against SA Roosevelt as Brandeis made off with a 48-24 victory. Given the Broncos' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 430th, while the Rough Riders are ranked 884th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Reagan's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Brandeis, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-13.

Reagan came up short against Brandeis when the teams last played back in January, falling 50-40. Thankfully for Reagan, Rian Forestier (who went 9 for 18 on her way to 25 points in addition to eight boards and six blocks) won't be suiting up this time.
