Prospect Ridge Academy is 9-1 against Stargate School since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Miners will host the Eagles at 6:00 p.m.

Prospect Ridge Academy came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to Forge Christian. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

While Prospect Ridge Academy was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Forge Christian's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-18, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Stargate School waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Pumas 3-0.

Stargate School never let Peak to Peak on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-19.

Stargate School's win bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Prospect Ridge Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-5.

Prospect Ridge Academy took their victory against Stargate School in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Miners repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
