Volleyball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West-Oak Warriors. If the Red Devils were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Warriors when the teams met back in August of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: West-Oak scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for West-Oak, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Coincidentally, Liberty and West-Oak will both be playing Daniel the next time they take the court. The Red Devils will head out to face the Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
