Softball Recap: Northland Prep Academy Spartans vs. Pinon Eagles
Northland Prep Academy fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Pinon on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Pinon Eagles by a score of 13-12. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.

In other batting news, Isabel Stoffers made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5. Lauren Frate was another key contributor, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
This is the second loss in a row for Northland Prep Academy and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for Pinon, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7-1.
