Football Recap: Dunwoody Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Dunwoody unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions by a score of 15-12 on Saturday. The Wildcats gained 152 more yards on the day, but it was the Golden Lions that made the best use of them.

Dunwoody lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Bradley Stephens, who picked up 95 receiving yards, and also rushed for 77 yards. Another player making a difference was Cameron Irastorza, who rushed for 118 yards.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dunwoody will welcome Pope at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Pius X Catholic, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lakeside at 7:30 p.m.
