Basketball Game Preview: Barbour County Jaguars vs. Goshen Eagles

The Barbour County Jaguars will head out to face off against the Goshen Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Barbour County will be strutting in after a victory while Goshen will be coming in after a loss.

Last Tuesday, Barbour County strolled past Ariton with points to spare, taking the game 58-44.

Meanwhile, Goshen played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Luverne 60-31. The Eagles were down 52-27 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Goshen's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Barbour County, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Barbour County strolled past Goshen in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 57-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Barbour County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
