Volleyball Recap: Santaluces Victorious

Santaluces's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Boynton Beach Tigers, sneaking past 3-2. The Chiefs haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Santaluces wouldn't go down easily and took Boynton Beach into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 17-25, 20-25, 15-7.

Santaluces picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-7. As for Boynton Beach, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Santaluces didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Glades Central on the 2nd. As for Boynton Beach, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Deerfield Beach on the 2nd.
