Baseball Recap: Maplesville Red Devils vs. West Blocton Tigers
Maplesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Blocton Tigers. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.
Braden Atcheson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two doubles. Aiden Abbott also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
