Volleyball Recap: St. Francis Indian Comes Up Short

St. Francis Indian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Rapid City Christian Comets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2015.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-4.

St. Francis Indian's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Rapid City Christian, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

St. Francis Indian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mahpiya Luta at 4:30 p.m. on the 16th. As for Rapid City Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against White River on the 30th.
