Basketball Recap: Boyceville Finds Home Court Redemption Against Flambeau

There's no place like home for Boyceville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 65-63 win over the Flambeau Falcons on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since December 5, 2023.

Flambeau's loss came despite strong showings from Chanse Ludescher and Dominic Kopacz. Ludescher dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten boards, while Kopacz almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine assists. The dominant performance gave Kopacz a new career-high in assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Hruby, who posted 13 points and eight rebounds.

Boyceville's win bumped their record up to 5-15. As for Flambeau, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boyceville will welcome Spring Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Flambeau, they will square off against Lake Holcombe at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
