Parma had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Melba Mustangs with a sharp 16-5 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 11 matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.

Zoey Heffelfinger was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. Lakota Leppert was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Parma always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Melba only posted an OBP of .320.

Parma pushed their record up to 18-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Melba, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Parma didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-1 victory against Nyssa on the 24th. As for Melba, they have also already played their next match, a 5-3 defeat against Marsing on the 25th.
