Baseball Recap: Carolina Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Thornwell last Thursday, Carolina Academy came back down to earth. The Carolina Academy Trojans lost 15-0 to the St. Joseph's Catholic Knights on Tuesday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Trojans were not able to get on the board.

Carolina Academy's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-2. As for St. Joseph's Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

While Carolina Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
