Baseball Recap: Bridgewater-Raynham Comes Up Short

Bridgewater-Raynham was the 5-4 winner over Franklin when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 7-6 on Friday.

Bridgewater-Raynham now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Franklin, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bridgewater-Raynham will host New Bedford at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Franklin, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against North Attleborough at 3:45 p.m. The Rocketeers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
