After losing to Phillips the last time they met, Waterloo decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 28-7 margin over the Bears on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Cecil Goacher threw for 83 yards on five of nine attempts.

The win got Waterloo back to even at 4-4. As for Phillips, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
