Softball Recap: Forest Park Triumphs

Forest Park won the last time they faced South Knox and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rangers came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 12-8. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rangers.

The team relied heavily on Kaitlyn Randle, who fired off two home runs and six RBI while going 4-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Jillian Healy was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Forest Park was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .469. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matchups.

The win got Forest Park back to even at 4-4. As for South Knox, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forest Park will welcome Barr-Reeve at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Knox, they will take on Shoals at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
