Volleyball Game Preview: Central Mountain Wildcats vs. Williamsport Millionaires

Central Mountain has won four straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Williamsport has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Wildcats will welcome the Millionaires at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Thursday, Central Mountain made easy work of Loyalsock Township and carried off a 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, Williamsport got the win against Danville on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Williamsport never let Danville on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 26-24, 25-18.

Williamsport's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Central Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.

Central Mountain took their victory against Williamsport in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Millionaires have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
