Softball Recap: Fort Thomas Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Fort Thomas finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They lost 14-0 to the Hayden Lobos. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Apaches were not able to get on the board.

Fort Thomas has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Hayden, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-8 record.

Fort Thomas has already played their next contest, an 18-1 loss against Superior on the 10th. As for Hayden, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 15-3 win against Bisbee on the 10th.
