After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Joseph-Ogden, Tuscola was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Central A & M Raiders 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-5 back in April.

Kinzie Cleland spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ava Boyer, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Tuscola's record now sits at 15-10. As for Central A & M, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-15 record this season.

Tuscola will welcome Cumberland at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central A & M, they are taking a road trip to square off against Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
