Bellevue West triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Naomi White

Recap: Bellevue West Thunderbirds vs. Marian Crusaders
The Bellevue West Thunderbirds posted their biggest win yet this season on Thursday. They blew past Marian 61-40. That's another feather in the cap for Bellevue West, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Naomi White was her usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Danielle Coyer was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals and two blocks.
Bellevue West now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Marian, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bellevue West will square off against Kearney at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Marian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Pius X at 2:45 p.m. on January 27th. Hopefully Pius X focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 last Tuesday.
