Basketball Recap: Berkner Now 12-3 over Last 15 Games

Berkner hadn't done well against Richardson recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Berkner Rams sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 57-54 win over the Richardson Eagles. For the Rams, this counts as revenge for the 71-50 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Berkner is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season. As for Richardson, their loss dropped their record down to 18-8.

Berkner and Richardson should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Berkner (ranked 152nd) will meet Nimitz (ranked 911th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Richardson will take on Irving at 7:00 p.m. on Friday up 710 places (66 vs. 776).
